By registering a clinic account, you confirm you are authorised to act on behalf of the clinic and to bind it to these terms.
2. Accurate booking information
Clinics must provide accurate and complete information for every booking, including role required, shift date and time, duties, skills required, rate offered, location, working environment, supervision arrangements, onboarding requirements and any role-specific requirements.
3. Final booking decisions
Clinics are solely responsible for the final decision to engage any locum. Matching scores, badges and recommendations on the Platform are decision-support tools only and do not replace the clinic's own assessment.
4. Equality Act 2010
Clinics must comply with the Equality Act 2010 in all advertising, selection, booking, cancellation, rating and review decisions, and must not discriminate unlawfully on the basis of any protected characteristic.
5. CQC and safe staffing
Where the clinic is regulated by the Care Quality Commission or another regulator, the clinic remains responsible for meeting all applicable regulatory standards, safe staffing requirements and safe recruitment obligations.
6. Clinical governance and supervision
- Suitability checks for the specific shift and clinical environment.
- Induction, onboarding and supervision of the locum.
- Clinical governance, patient safety and safeguarding.
- Health and safety, insurance and indemnity arrangements.
- Worker classification, payroll and tax treatment where applicable.
7. Platform role
LocumAI is a technology and matching platform. LocumAI is not the employer or engager of any locum, is not a healthcare provider, and does not provide clinical supervision, regulatory advice or clinical governance.
8. Compliance information
Compliance information displayed on the Platform reflects documents reviewed by LocumAI's process. Clinics remain responsible for carrying out their own final pre-engagement checks before confirming a booking.
